March in solidarity with Palestine in Montevideo, Uruguay
The attacks by Israel against Gaza that started on July 8th continue and have resulted in the death of over 650 people (among them 121 children), in addition to over 4000 people injured. The population displaced within the Gaza Strip amounts to 110,000.
Yesterday, social movements and organizations gathered in the Coordination in Solidarity with Palestine organized a march from the University of the Republic to the Israeli Embassy in the country. Over 2,000 people participated, addressed the demonstrators and read testimonies of Palestinian people suffering these violent attacks.
