The case of Shell
Through corporate lobby groups like the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Shell and other transnational corporations are buying influence in decision-making at the Rio+20 Earth Summit. This is a major problem because the sustainable development the world needs cannot be delivered by corporate polluters like Shell.
