The Honduran people continues mobilizing against the military coup

While the perpetrators of the coup in Honduras continue trying to make their government look democractic in its rhetoric to justify the coup to the international community – which has unanimously condemned the de facto regime- thousands continue demonstrating in Honduras, demanding the reinstatement of President Manuel Zelaya.
The Honduran Congress, which supported the coup d’état, has intensified the measures of repression, by approving the suspension of the constitutional rights. Besides, the armed forces continue attacking the opposers to the de facto regime, who are peacefully demonstrating since the interruption of the democratic rule.
