In today´s show we interviewed Matthew Daloisio from the DC-based organization Witness Against Torture about the 100 actions in 100 days campaign. This campaign started on January 11th, which marked 7 years of imprisonment in Guantanamo. We also talked to Abeer, our correspondent from Palestine on the current situation of the Gaza Strip, after the Israeli attacks.
She told us about the current situation after the war and about the environmental crisis, and what PENGON – Friends of the Earth Palestine is doing to assess the crisis. Finally, we talked about the decision made by German Agriculture Minister to ban GM maize Mon 810, produced by US multinational company Monsanto.
